All of our products are shipped from our retail location in Grand Bay, New Brunswick, Canada.

We ship primarily through Canada Post.  Canada Post categorizes their shipping areas as Canada, the U.S.A. or International (all countries other than Canada or the U.S.A.).

How do I determine what Shipping options are available for my order?

You can see a list of the shipping options for your order by putting the items you wish in your cart, then going to checkout, filling in your name and address information and then proceeding to the shipping options page. All the shipping options available for your package will display along with the cost and estimated delivery time - you can decide what's best for you.

Please not that “Estimated delivery days” are from when you order is shipped, in business days (Monday-Friday) not from when you place your order - although we do try to ship your order within 24 hours of receiving it.

I'm in a hurry. Can you ship overnight?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship overnight to any location.

Do you offer Local Pick-up at your retail store in Grand Bay?

Yes.  You can pick-up your order at our retail store in Grand Bay, New Brunswick, Canada.  At checkout simply select “Local Pick-up” from the listed shipping methods.  Please call or email us to schedule a pick-up time, otherwise we may not be in when you arrive.  

How are my shipping cost calculated?

We pass on our actual discounted shipping costs that we are charged by Canada Post based on shipping package weight and size. Shipping package weight is typically the actual weight of your package. If an item is overly large yet light, the shipping package weight may be increased above the actual weight based on a volume calculation.

How do I track my order?

Depending on which shipping method you choose, your order may be trackable (see shipping options above).  Please note that not all shipping options are trackable.

When you select a shipping method that tracks your package, a tracking number, along with a direct link to track your shipment, is sent in your shipping confirmation email.  You can also track your shipments on our website under "Order Status", provided you have registered with us.

Can I specify the carrier that my order is shipped with?

Under most circumstances, Canada Post is the only carrier we will use. However, if you require a specific courier please contact us at orders@robcosman.com before placing your order, we may be able to accommodate you at an extra cost.

When will my order ship?

We bulk drop off parcels at our local Canada Post Office on regular business days (Monday – Friday, excluding Canadian National Holidays) at 3:00 pm Eastern Time.  We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or Canadian National Holidays.

Orders placed with us BEFORE 2:00pm Eastern Time, on regular business days (Monday – Friday, excluding Canadian National Holidays) will ship that same day, if all the items on your order are in stock. 

Orders placed with us AFTER 2:00pm Eastern Time, on regular business days (Monday – Friday, excluding Canadian National Holidays) will ship the next business day, if all the items on your order are in stock.  

If your order is placed on a non-business day (Saturday, Sunday or on a Canadian National Holidays) then your order will ship on the next business day.

What happens if an item in my order is out of stock?

Some of the items we sell are custom made, hard to obtain, or we have an irregular supply of that can cause these items to be out of stock.

We normally do not make partial shipments.

 If any item in your order is out of stock, we will assemble your order with the inventory we have on hand, but we will not immediately ship your order.  We will place your order on hold until the out of stock items become available.  Once the out of stock item arrives, we will immediately fill your order and ship within 24 hours.

If an item in your order is out of stock we will send you an email alerting you to the situation and give you an estimated fulfillment and shipping time frame.

If the out of stock item is estimated to take more than 3 weeks to arrive at our store, our customer service department will contact you within 24 hours and we will work out a shipping solution to your satisfaction.

How do I tell if an item is out of stock?

Information about whether a given item is in stock not is included under the order quantity window on each product page (with a few exceptions). We keep this information as up to date as possible, but occasionally our information is not accurate. If we list that a product is in stock and we find out after you placed your order that for whatever reason we don't have it in stock or the last one in stock is broken, our customer service department will contact you within 24 hours and we will work out a shipping solution to your satisfaction.
