Customer Reviews

I "discovered" PEC tools of California and was so impressed I bought some of their stuff to put it to the test of daily use.  I am still impressed and I now recommend PEC's premium line of solid squares.

PEC's  Solid squares are just that - solid metal, no moving parts, and VERY accurate.  I have and use several different sizes of solid squares in order to match the square to the job at hand; the price of these squares permits this luxury!

  • 4 inch long blade.

  • Made from high quality harden tool steel.

  • Has true right angles; both inside and out.

  • Beams and blades are precision ground and hardened.

  • Length of blade is measured from inner edge of beam to the end of the blade.

4 inch pec square

Finish is really good as with all pec tools. The square i recieved is square on the inside but not on the outside. Tested against a starrett combination and a pec 2 inch square both known to be true. I have the 2 inch and bevel square made by pec and they are perfect so I'm sure this is just a one off. Fast shipping and great customer service from Rob and his team

Very nice

I have squares that were handed down from my grandfather and combo squares I bought; even a Starrett Combo square which I trust, but when it comes to squaring the blade in your table saw you want that dead on. This square agrees with my Starrett so I know both are right.

When I opened the box I grabbed the square and ran downstairs to check my table saw blade and it was off. The zero clearance insert was a bit high on one corner and with this square I was able to get it back to 90 degrees.
