Tony Martin, from Australia attended two of my Training the Hand Workshops in 2016. He sent in these pictures of his wall tool cabinet he just completed.
The toolbox panels are made from native Australian Blackwood (acacia melanoxylon), The draw faces are rock maple and the the plane box is blackwood and another Australian wood Jarrah (eucalyptus marginata).
The two doors open revealing lots of tool storage and a double row of nicely done dovetailed drawers.
Here is a close-up of some of his tool storage devices
The back looks to be tongue-in-groove panels. I love the way he staggered his drawers.
Corners are nicely dovetailed
His doors are frame -and-panel attached to a dovetailed frame.
He used a through dovetail to attach his stays.
Very nice job Tony!!!
If you have completed a project send me some pictures.
