This video provides you bench-side instruction on making piston fit drawers. This is Rob's forte', making properly fitted dovetailed drawers. Rob teaches time tested methods of making drawers that move with piston-like precision. From preparing the carcass to factoring in seasonal movement this video teaches you how to gain this hallmark of craftsmanship. Building on his previous instructional videos Rob adds tips that he has gained from teaching hundreds of students how to cut joints and sharpen tools. This video was filmed using five cameras to ensure the best possible angle for the viewer.

Rob, Recieved the chisels, books, videos, and Moxon hardware. I started the vid and also the book but, my son is coming from Florida soon and I'm using much of these items to teach him Dovetailing. He doesn't know it yet but when he's done he'll have a Honduran Mahogany box to take home. I got involved in taking inventory of my shop with pictures, prices for, invoice files, and instructions to use. All for his benefit when I'm gone!

Brings a whole new perspective on how to accomplish drawer fitment.
There is a lot of work making drawers and it doesn't look difficult, that is until you try.

Video was quite old. It contained very little that is not already on You Tube. Some of the techniques mentioned have been updated in current YouTube videos. This is the first product I have purchased from you that has not been excellent.
