World's Best Spritz Bottle
Don't you just hate it when your spritz bottle won't work? It can be so frustrating. Never fear - The world's Best Spritz Bottle is here!
Jake Cosman is our shop's master sharpener. He does all the blade sharpening before we ship them to you. Frustrated with spritz bottles that just would not work, Jake put together a game changing spritz bottle that works and works and works. Its so amazing that we are now offering this spritz bottle to you.
The secret is in the dip tube ("suction tube"). It has tiny holes all along the tube and is extra long so it can suck up water in the bottle no matter what level of water is left and regardless of what angle the bottle is held! When you first use it, it'll sometimes take up to 30 seconds of priming before the tube has filled with water. Be sure not to cut the sealed bottom.
24 oz bottle
Extra long, porous, dip tube.
Smooth, professional quality trigger action
If it lasts, it will be great. Not sure it is worth the price, but it is really good if it lasts.
It is the best by far!
The spray pattern is perfect, and as long as fluid can touch any part of the tube, it will pump. I haven’t had any issues with mine, but to initially prime it I had a tough time. I was about to give up on it, but discovered that if you turn it upside down and pull the trigger it primes the pump immediately. I’ve had to do this every time I’ve refilled the bottle. I never mix up more than about 8 ounces of hone-rite at a time. This is because I am still not certain about the composition of the straw. In class there were some bottles that had some “floaty” things inside the solution. One explanation was that the straw which is basically a micro filter may be made out of a type of paper that with prolonged soaking begins to break down. This wasn’t confirmed, but since I don’t sharpen my tools daily I only mix up the amount of fluid I think I’ll use in a sharpening session, and then if there is anything left in the spritz bottle I pour it into another little bottle for storage so the straw isn’t always soaking in fluid when not in use. Plus it eliminates the urge my younger kids may have to pull the trigger on a spray bottle when they are passing through the garage. I might be over analyzing and overprotecting from a non-issue, but I do like the smooth function of the spray pump and want it to last so just like any tool I own, I take care of it.
I typically go through spritz bottles every couple of months. My wife uses one when she cleans our hardwood floors and often gets frustrated when it quits working. I ordered 2 back in April 1 for my wife and 1 for my sharpening station. Both work great! We are very happy with this product. This spritz bottle has a even spray and doesn’t clog.
