SJÖBERGS of Sweden has been manufacturing top quality workbenches and workbench accessories for over 80 years.
These bench dogs were designed to work specifically with the Sjoberg's Elite series of workbenches, but they will fit any workbench with 1 inch dog holes.
We much prefer these more substantial 1 inch dogs over 3/4 inch bench dogs.
These dogs have a sprung wire incorporated into the design that keeps the dog fitting snug in the hole and prevents the dog from dropping through the dog hole. The face of these bench dogs are milled with a 3 degree negative slant so that they grab and force your lumber down onto the workbench top. With this design there is no need to slant your dog holes when you drill a workbench top.
The aluminum is also very forgiving if you accidentally hit them with an edge tool.
Just got the bench a bit ahead of my project table completion. Quality construction and looking forward to putting them to work.
