Training the Hand Workshop: Meals

Meals. A total of 13 meals (meet-and-greet BBQ meal, six breakfast meals, and six supper meals) are included in the price of the workshop.  A hearty breakfast meal is served at 10:00am and supper is served at 5:00pm daily.  All food is made from scratch and lovingly prepared from high quality, healthy, and fresh ingredients. Everyone goes home, usually having gained a little weight. Just read the workshop reviews and you can see what great things past students say about the food.

Food Allergies and Special Dietary Requirements. Our small kitchen and staff CANNOT accommodate most food allergies or special dietary requirements. Our meals are generally low in processed sugar, gluten, and dairy products; however, neither our small kitchen nor food is certified free of anything (e.g. peanut-free, gluten-free, meat-free, etc.). Also, we cannot deviate from the planned menu, nor can we serve any specialty diet dishes. If you have any food concerns, allergies, or special dietary requirements email Luther at Robswebmaster@robCosman.com to discuss your situation.

Kitchen and Dining Area.  We have a small commercial kitchen with an attached dining room adjacent (20 feet away) to the workshop. The dining room is painted and decorated in a fun M*A*S*H theme.

Local Restaurants. There is an extremely limited number of restaurants in the Grand Bay area.  Local eateries include a Subway restaurant, a pizza parlor, a fish and chips and burger restaurant, and a Chinese restaurant. There is also a grocery store in Grand Bay, and two gas stations with a large assortment of snacks and drinks. All other restaurants are located on the outskirts of Saint John, about a 20-minute drive away. As you can see, there is not a great selection of restaurants in the Grand Bay area, this is why all meals are included in the price of the workshop.

Comments from Previous Students:
