We use workbench casters on all of our teaching workbenches to move them around the shop easily; however, we found that most casters would easily bend rendering the wheels useless. We looked high and low to find a tough enough caster not to bend under the weight of a heavy bench. We found it in the Bora Workbench Casters. Durable but not versatile

The casters went on pretty easily and seem durable. My biggest beef is that the wheels "catch" when changing directions. There is enough clearance when you're pushing the table away from you (and the 2 nearest casters are closer to you), but the opposite side wheels turn inward and bind against the legs of the table. Maybe I did something wrong, but that seems like a pretty big thing to catch earlier.

Work's Great

I bought a Nie-Nielson bench, which has a 4" thick hard maple top - 4" all across. But I have a small shop and need it to be movable at times. So I bought a set of these and found they work great.

Cosmanized workbench casters an excellent upgrade

Order arrived quickly and in good order - no issues. I installed these for my table saw outfeed table/storage cabinet, which gets quite heavy - these make it a breeze to move around. The welded-on plates give peace of mind, knowing these won't fold under pressure.
