Limited Edition Brace: Irwin Auger Bit Set (New Old Stock)

This is a complete set of, hard to find, "NEW-OLD STOCK", Irwin Single Spiral Brace Bits.  These "American made" bits were manufactured by the Irwin company in the U.S., most likely sometime between 1960-1985.  They have NEVER BEEN USED.  They are in LIKE-NEW CONDITION. 

Unlike the used brace bits that have been used and worn out, these unused bits have 100% of their flutes, the starter threads are sharp and un worn, and the cutting edge is in pristine condition.  These wil last you a lifetime and you will pass them on to your children.

Ernie, our master hand brace restorer, is liquidating his stock of brace drill bits.  He only has enough "NEW-OLD stock to put together two complete drill bit sets, so when these are gone there will be no more ! 

These bits are no longer manufactured in the U.S.  In the 1990s Irwin, like many other drill bit manufacturers, started producing their bits offshore (non-U.S. location) and the quality is no where near the quality of their U.S. made bits.

This is a complete 13 bit set, numbers 4 through 16 (1/4 inch through 1 inch).
