Route Package Protection

First of all this is a beautiful piece of workmanship. But this is made for shooting smaller pieces than what I am working with. I called to ask if they could make a 34” or longer board but for some reason they young guy on the phone thought that would be too difficult. I was hoping to save time and just buy the board that I needed but now have a very nice example of what to copy from. I’m using this to shoot 2 piece book matched guitar tops and backs.

My mini shooting board was made with carefully selected materials constructed and finished with a craftsman's eye for detail, right down to the indexing of the screw heads in final assembly. While a no. 4 plane works well with this board, the size is perfectly block plane proportioned I extend my thanks to Rob and his team for a job well done!

I recently purchased a pair of these layout tools for dovetail work. I find them beautifully crafted, well made, and the adjustment screw works smoothly. I purchase tools as a lifetime investment.
