Rob Cosman and his staff have got to be some of the greatest people in a business that exist. Especially for someone like me who can be a real pain. He has shown nothing but patience, has given guidance and is genuinely a wonderful man. If anyone is wondering, I am not a relative I’m not a friend. I’m just some guy in New Jersey trying to improve his hand woodworking skills. And anyone out there that thinks Rob is just trying to push sales on buying the right tools (his tools), I will tell you from experience. I started with cheap stuff and I was getting nowhere. I took his advice. I purchased several of the tools he recommended, including his dovetail saw, and it is night and day compared to any other dovetail saw out there. I personally use Forrest saw blades for my table, saw and miter saw and once he explained that you have a glue ready joint after cutting wood with a Rob Cosman dovetail saw I understood completely because that’s exactly what you get from a Forrest blade. So anyone considering the purchase of tool, start stuffing your coffee cans with spare change until you can afford it, but do not compromise. You’re gonna regret it and you’re gonna end up buying what he suggests anyway, therefore costing more in the long run. . As far as his customer service second to none. I’ve dealt with many people many vendors, many companies and I have never received the service that I have from Rob Cosman and family and for that I thank them greatly. So don’t be shy pull the trigger buy once cry once but you’re definitely gonna be happy with yourself for doing so.
