WoodRiver Replacement Plane Blade Set (2-3/8 inch)

I know these blades are identified to be used (meaning sized) for the Woodriver planes, plus its noted they can be used for other Bailey style bevel down planes. I bought it for a Fulton #6 that I bought on Ebay many years ago. When I got the blade and fitted it onto the frog, I noticed the lateral adjuster slot was narrower that the part that mated into it. I just filed the plane adjuster piece a little on each edge as a solution. If possible, could you note on your blade descriptions the width of the adjuster slot - just as an extra piece of information for those who want to get it for a plane other than the Woodriver ? Other than that, the blade and chip breaker is an improvement over the one that came with the plane. Thank you for asking for a review of my purchase.

All items better than expected.

The difference the thicker iron has made is unbelievable. I could not feel primary level with original iron on my stanley 5 1/2. Not a problem now. 32 seconds to sharp!

Have not used as of yet, as the original is still in excellent condition and working perfectly.

These work great in my Wood River 5 1/2!
