Starrett precision Spring-Tempered Steel Rule with mm graduations are perfect for precision measurements. They are fully hardened steel rulers but what is really great about them is that the graduations are so easy to see.  You can actually see the tiniest marks - amazing!

The #35 graduations mean they are marked in 1mm and 1/2 mm graduations on both sides of the rule.

A very nice rule

The main reason I purchased this rule was the way the millimetres and half-millimetres are etched into the surface and the fact the 2nd, 3rd, 7th and 8th millimetre markings along the rule are differentiated from the other millimetre markings with longer (higher) lines - makes using the rule and getting the accuracy so much easier.
