Finding a good wood screw is a challenge.  I only use Robertson® brand screws.  Highly engineered and specifically designed for cabinet making and general woodworking, I think they are the best screws on the market today. Robertson drive screws are a uniquely Canadian product, almost impossible to find outside of Canada.

Our Robertson® brand screws feature the Robertson drive head and its famous "cling-fit." A Robertson drive screw head has a slightly tapered, square-shaped socket in the head and a Robertson driver has a matching shaped protrusion on the tooltip.  This tapered shape makes inserting the driver into the socket easier and keeps the screw on the tooltip without the user needing to hold it there.

Our Robertson® screws have deep, coarse threads with minimum body diameter which causes less material displacement and provides excellent holding, especially in softwoods and man-made material (MDF, plywood, etc.).  Sharp thread angles and serrated starter teeth requires less drive torque than standard screws.

    Screws....

They're screws. I'm in the States, and the prices offered were way cheaper than the big-box hardware stores. The screws were well-made and I bought a variety of lengths. After I ordered, I realized I should have bought some square tip drivers. I ordered those, and emailed Cosman & Co, asking them to combine the two orders to save me some postage. They did that without fuss. It was a good experience, the screws were good screws, and the Cosman guys were good guys.

    Great hardware!

Love using these screws. Only wish the pan head version was self drilling but otherwise great!

    Good Hardware

I like all of the sizes of screws i bought. The. Threads cut great and seem longer and I also like the cutters under the head that help counter sink. Very good product, oh and the square head stays on the driver for ease of reaching in. Thanks .

Rob Would Never Steer You Wrong

Not only were the screws of the highest quality and everything Rob said they’d be, but everything I’ve purchased through is site has been the same. To top it all off, I have contacted his customer service team twice (due to a computer glitch not applying a discount to an item both times), and both times I was given a response and refund in 12 hours or less. This is absolutely unheard of these days. I will forever be a loyal return customer to Rob Cosman. He’s a great guy doing great things, running a great company, and helping out those who’ve made the greatest sacrifice every single day. This craft would not be what it is without Rob Cosman.

Good product - extreme shipping cost

I purchased a mix Robertson Drive Screws (#6 and #8 of various lengths), Robertson drive bits of various lengths and plane magic wax, total of roughly $112. Shipping at the lowest rate was $29.87, roughly 27% of the item cost.

I have used some of the screws in a project and they work fine. I will have trouble justifying future purchases given the high shipping cost.
