I installed these on a Moxon vice I built last year. The springs fit perfectly and makes it easier to place wood between the vice jaws. The only minor quibble is the springs are very robust and hard to compress when first installed. With time they should adjust to a softer resistance.
The price was reasonable and they were quickly shipped! A great idea and a great deal from Rob!!

After watching dozens of Moxin videos build videos I decided to wing it and take things from each one. These springs as well as the knobs made the Taytools kit perfect. (Got some hand wheels from eBay. I’ve already started using the vise. So handy to have on the bench! I just used the southern yellow pine cutoffs I had taking up space e in the garage. You don’t need premium hardwood for this. SYP works fine with no flex.

Works exactly as advertised , I didn’t buy it at first because I didn’t think it was necessary but after a week of manually operating the vice it is so convenient

These are great little springs that work perfectly for my moxon vise. They open the jaws automatically.
