After watching a lot of videos and shopping for benches, I made the decision to order these plans and build the Cosman bench myself.
The bench is solid and well designed. The video and drawings kept me out of the weeds during the project. It is rewarding to have done it and, as a newer woodworker, it did not take long.
I also purchased the aluminum sofas and casters, which really make this so much more enjoyable.
10 out of 10, I would recommend it to anyone.

I feel as tho Rob's style changed a lot, and there has been a couple mods after the initial video. I think he should do an extra part, revealing after the fact things, tips and tricks, or just showing off new mods. (wheels, hydro mdf, storage, etc...) Thank you

Being relatively new to woodworking, this was a significant challenge for me. I found the instructions clear and was able to perform the techniques that were presented. I would highly recommend the videos. I learned so many tricks, and there was no way I could have completed this without the videos. The completed table is everything I could ask for. I made the template for the leg assembly, and the base didn’t rock at all. The top (1” water resistant mdf “Extira” brand) is perfectly flat. I competed the project in about 40 hours. I found it best to watch the whole video before starting construction and then go back and watch each step again right before I did the operation. I was looking for a workbench project that could be completed in that about that amount of time and that came with very detailed video instructions that I could watch and then duplicate. I added the wheels, light, and Sjoberg vice and bench dogs from Rob’s website. They all work very well. Other than getting help to break down the Baltic birch plywood and mdf sheets, I found ways to do the rest of the project by myself. So I couldn’t be happier with this workbench.

The video was extremely helpful to watch. By providing alternate ways to complete a task, I was able to gain the confidence to complete it. The work bench turned out great and I expect I will have it for a long time to come. Thank you!
