This is the replacement blade for Rob's Drawer Bottom plane.  The blade is made of A2 tool steel, heat treated for edge retention, and measures 3/16 inch thick, 1/4 inch wide and 7 inches long.

Drawer Bottom Plane

Excellent craftsmanship and finish. Blade back was flat and sharpened easily in seconds. Could have used right out of the box but was grooving some hard maple and I wanted a little bit more edge. I am very pleased with this choice. Excellent value!
