We make a lot of hand saws and even though we are really good at it, sometimes things happen. Every now and then we create a cosmetic blemish that does not affect the proper function of the saw, but we cannot sell it as one of our high quality saw "Firsts."

This saw has not only been one of the easiest cutting saws I have used, but is the straightest saw I have used in years

This x-cut handsaw is just as great in looks and performance as the similar rip saw previously ordered upon its release. I have had excellent success ordering “seconds” and this x-cut saw is fine. I really cannot find a blemish that would make it a second. Highly recommended.
