We make hundreds of Rob Cosman's IBC Chisels and even though we are really good at it, sometimes things happen.  Every now and then we create a cosmetic blemish that does not affect the proper functioning of the chisel, but we cannot sell it as one of our high quality saw "Firsts".

This can be great news to you!  It is a way to purchase a Rob Cosman IBC Chisel at a discount.  

We don't have many of these but when we do make a cosmetic mistake we put them up here for sale.   The pictures on this page are representative of the typical flaws that make a chisel a second.

Best chisel I ever expect to own

I purchased this single chisel (along with a few other items) to see if it lived up to the hype, and am happy to report it does. It took very little time to flatten/polish the back and put a Cosman edge on the bevel. It feels great in my hand, cuts like a dream, and is beautiful besides. Bonus: Soon after placing my order, I received a thank you call from Rob. Very nice touch.
