JEWELLERY BOX

In this video series Rob makes for his wife, a jewellery box designed to hang on the wall. The box is designed with a center section of small drawers and wood-hinged doors on either side that open up to reveal the hanging jewellery. The box carcass is made from Black Walnut joined together with through dovetails. The side doors are panel-in-frame construction with Birdseye Maple as the center piece. Rob uses the lathe to turn all of the knobs and jewellery hangers by hand.
