In this video series Rob shows you how to build his shooting board and a bench hook. A shooting board is an essential jig for the hand-tool woodworker, enabling you to plane precisely square angles. This is actually a very simple jig to build yet it provides incredibly accurate results. Once you use a shooting board you will never want to be without one. A bench hook is another essential jig that allows you to securely hold a board as you crosscut it. You likely already have the wood you need for these two projects in your scrap pile.
